Kathi has been working full time with us since May 1998. She graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene as well as Northeastern in Boston, MA. Her favorite part of her job is knowing and becoming friends with the many people she has met, and continues to meet. She enjoys seeing progress in our patients' oral health. She spends her free time gardening and cooking.
Kim has been working with us for about the last 16 years. She has her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Rhode Island. She enjoys the dental profession because she likes helping people. She says she loves dentistry, as it is a health care profession, that is always changing in technology, and is constantly improving to help maintain a healthy body for our patients. She loves working at this office because she feels that both, Dr. Kurzman and Dr. Lacy, respect each one of their employees, and loves that she's treated like family and feels very appreciated. Her hobbies include, skiing, hiking, and working out. She has two sons that she loves very much, and enjoys all of their activities as well.
Mary Ellen has been working part time with us for the last few years. She received her RDH degree from the State University of New York, and her BA degree from the Southern Connecticut State University. She is a Sigma Phi Alpha Member of the National Honor Society for Dental Hygiene. She was a recipient of the President's Award, as well as the Long Island Academy of Odontology Award. The most enjoyable aspect of her job is working with so many wonderful people who care about the services we provide and the relationships we build with our patients. Her hobbies include, running, walking with her dog, attending exercise classes, and volunteering at the local high school for different projects.
Sue has been working with us for about the last 26 years. Her education includes: an A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Westbrook College/University of New England; a B.S. in Psychology from UCONN; a M.S. in Dental Public Health from Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine; and a M.S. in Social Work from Southern CT State University. Her favorite part of dentistry is that there is always something new, whether it be technology or people, she's never bored. Her favorite part of being at this office is having the opportunity to work with such a great team of professionals where she feels valued and respected. Also, she finds it fun to know people and their families for so long - now the kids are bringing in children of their own! Her hobbies include traveling, bicycling, motorcycling, snow shoeing, snorkeling, and swimming.
Sue has been working with us for the last 14 years. Her education includes: Ludlow High School, Ludlow, MA; University of Mass, Amherst, MA, attended 2 years as an Animal Science major in their Pre-Veterinary program; Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists, Boston, MA, RDH degree; Northeastern University, Boston, MA, AS and BS degrees. She enjoys interacting with our patients, getting to know them individually, and helping them attain optimal oral health. When not in the office, she enjoys caring for, raising, and training her rottweilers and their pups with her husband and son, gardening, quilting, and knitting.
